Transactional sales will always catch up with you..
Salespeople that are fly by night - fly in and fly out on deals - they think they’re being efficient from a sales standpoint, sell a deal, and immediately move onto the next thing.
But the only thing this does, is limit long-term prospects with clients, as clients can always detect salespeople that are transactional, as clients have a stellar ‘bulls@&t’ meter.
Do yourself a favor, genuinely care about the success of your client.
Be involved pre sale, at/on sale and post sale.
In fact, post sale is the most important phase.
Do your clients right there. In fact, do your clients right in post sale and in the end not only will you have a client for life, you may even get a new friend too.
